Three programmes.
One clear purpose.
Each is designed for a different kind of need. All share the same format: small groups, genuine conversation, no product sales.
Back to HomeHow we approach financial education
Each programme begins from the assumption that the participants already know more than they think — they have been managing money for decades, navigating careers and families and properties. What they often lack is not experience but vocabulary, and a framework for organising what they already know.
Our role is to supply that vocabulary and framework, and to do so through conversation rather than lecture. We work in small groups, move at an unhurried pace, and review materials annually against current Malaysian regulations and product offerings.
Slow Money Conversations
A series of six evening conversations, held weekly, on the everyday side of personal finance after forty. Topics rotate through household budgeting, supporting ageing parents financially, helping adult children without compromising one's own provision, and re-examining old assumptions about retirement. The format is genuinely conversational — a small group of ten, with no slides and no homework. Suitable for those who learn best by talking through ideas.
Topics covered
Personal Investment Foundations
A nine-week structured course on investment fundamentals oriented toward later starters. Covers core asset classes, the role of EPF as a portfolio anchor, ringgit-denominated and offshore holdings, the meaning of common fund metrics, and how to read product documentation in Bahasa Malaysia or English. Each week includes a short paper exercise. Class size capped at fourteen.
Curriculum overview
Working With Your Adviser Programme
A three-month engagement designed for those who already have a financial adviser, agent or relationship manager and would like to be a more informed counterpart in those conversations. Reviews the questions worth asking, the documents worth requesting, the indicators of a well-aligned recommendation, and the soft signals to watch for. The programme is firmly educational and does not provide direct product recommendations of its own.
